Developed and produced in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, by Alratito Textíl and the talented weavers of Pantelhó, these handwoven and embroidered throws (100% cotton), feature a ‘difuminado’ pattern - a blurred blend of 3 colors- that are woven on the traditional back strap or waist loom.
These techniques have been handed down from generation to generation in the Mayan culture for over 2000 years celebrating the rich cultural heritage and artisanal skills of the region, with each piece being meticulously crafted.
